Welcome to chapter 19- Life
Life, unfortunately, does not wait for you to be okay. It keeps spinning whether you succeed or not, whether you’re ready or not. People can support you, encourage you, and walk beside you for a season, but at the end of the day, your life is 100% yours. No one else can live it for you. No one else can fight your battles or chase your dreams. And time… time is our biggest enemy. Every single day we waste is a day we will never get back. No rewinds. No do-overs. No second chances on yesterday. That’s why my advice is simple: get up, pray, and keep going. Even when you’re tired. Even when you’re hurting. Even when you don’t understand why. Just keep going.
Somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that life should be easy, and I’m not sure where that idea came from, because life isn’t easy. It is beautiful, powerful, meaningful, and full of purpose, but it is also hard. Over the years, I’ve realised that I made life much harder for myself than it ever needed to be. Not because I was weak, but because I didn’t always know better. Now my heart is focused on making sure my kids don’t repeat the same mistakes. Don’t get me wrong, everyone needs to make their own mistakes. That’s how we grow. That’s how we learn. But there are some struggles that can be avoided, some lessons that can be shared, and some pain that doesn’t have to be repeated. If I can make life even a little easier for the next generation, then my journey has purpose.
Life is the most beautiful and the most painful gift. What a blessing it is to wake up every day, to breathe, to feel, to love. We get to experience this journey. We get to meet incredible people. We get to fall in love. We get to build families. We get to create memories that last a lifetime. And that alone is a miracle. But let’s be honest, life is not forever, and tomorrow is not promised. So many people have left this world with unfinished dreams, unsaid “I love yous,” and unopened possibilities. That reality should not scare us, but it should wake us up.
We cannot take our days for granted. We cannot keep saying “one day” as if one day is guaranteed. One day is not promised. Today is. Today is your opportunity. Today is your chance. Today is your gift. Use it. Love harder. Forgive faster. Pray deeper. Dream bigger. Live louder. Grow stronger. Choose yourself. Choose healing. Choose faith. Choose purpose. Choose growth. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it’s scary. Even when it hurts. Because your life matters. Your story matters. Your journey matters. And the world needs the best version of you. Keep going

L – Love: 1 John 4:8 “God is love,” and when love leads our hearts, everything else begins to fall into place.
I – Inspire: When we walk in purpose and strive to become who God created us to be, we naturally inspire those around us. We are made in His image, and when we live that out, our lives become a reflection of His goodness.
F – Freedom: John 8:36 that “ Freedom allows us to walk without shame, without fear, and without being trapped by our past.
E – Experience: Every part of your journey matters. The good days, the hard days, the victories, and the struggles all serve a purpose. God uses every experience to shape your character, strengthen your faith, and prepare you for what He has next.
