Welcome to chapter 17 – That gut feeling.
Sometimes we don’t need facts—we just need to trust it.
We spend so much time questioning how we feel. Is it right? Is it wrong? We go back and forth in our heads, looking for clarity outside of ourselves. But deep down, we usually already know the answer—because it’s the loudest voice in our head. And yet, we still choose to ignore it.
I have to be honest—my gut has been the voice of reason so many times. And so many times, I’ve ignored it, even when I knew it was telling the truth. I talked myself out of it, waited for confirmation, made excuses… and I ended up getting my fingers burnt.

How many times have you done the same?
How many times did you feel something wasn’t right, but stayed anyway?
How many times did your gut warn you, but you chose comfort or familiarity instead?
How many times did you already know the answer, but kept questioning yourself?
We constantly look for reassurance. We want proof. We want permission. But not everything needs confirmation. Some things just need honesty.
Learning to trust your gut means being confident in how you feel, even when you can’t explain it. Our instincts exist for a reason—they’re built from experience, awareness, and intuition.
So why don’t we trust ourselves the first time?
Why do we only listen after it’s too late?
Maybe this chapter isn’t about having all the answers.
Maybe it’s about finally believing the voice that’s been right all along.
Let me leave this with you: That feeling in your gut is not confused . It’s your inner wisdom, the deeper part of you that understands things before your mind can logically process them. Listen to it.
