Why I’m Obsessed with Quotes (and Why You Might Be Too)
Okay, real talk — I love quotes. Like, LOVE love. They’re tiny word snacks for the soul. Sometimes they hype me up, sometimes they call me out (rude, but fair), and other times they just say exactly what I’m feeling before I even know how to say it myself.
The right quote? It carries. It shifts my mood, checks my ego, fuels my confidence, or reminds me to chill the hell out.
They’re little truth bombs dressed up in great grammar.
They’re affirmations, wake-up calls, or poetic mic drops.
Basically, they’re my version of a personal pep talk — but make it cute.
So here’s a collection of quotes I live by, swear by, or just really vibe with. Steal them, save them, say them out loud. They’re here to inspire, empower, and occasionally slap (in the best way).

I wanted to take a moment to share something close to my heart: my love for quotes and affirmations.
To some, they’re just nice words. But to me, they’re little anchors — quiet reminders that help ground me, encourage me, and gently shift my perspective when I need it most.
Over time, I’ve realized how much our minds default to doubt. We’re so used to thinking “I can’t,” “that’s not for me,” or “I’m not ready.” And honestly, a lot of that isn’t even our fault. It’s the messaging we’ve picked up along the way — from childhood, from society, from our own hard experiences.
But just like we learned to doubt ourselves, we can also learn to believe in ourselves again.
That’s why I love affirmations. That’s why I turn to quotes. They help me rewire those patterns — to remind myself that I can, that I’m worthy, and that growth starts with the way we speak to ourselves.
Some of these words I come back to daily. Others find me right when I need them. But all of them, in one way or another, help me keep going — with more grace, more clarity, and more hope.
So I wanted to share them with you, in case you need that gentle reminder too.
Take what resonates. Let them sink in. You never know which quiet sentence might be the one that helps something inside you shift.
With love,
Shana xx
The truth is no one can make you feel good as much as yourself. We are always looking for constant validation to feel great but unfortunately this will keep you trapped. Keep looking within and find the magic in you. You are more than enough.😊
Hi Cappie,
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment — it truly means a lot. I really appreciate you and your kind words. You’re absolutely right: we are enough, and we don’t need validation from anyone else. Still, sometimes turning the mirror toward people and helping them see just how beautiful they truly are can make all the difference.
I hope you keep reading, sharing, and joining in the conversation.
Sending love,
Shana xx
