Hey lovely,
So… if we’re keeping it real — which we always do — here’s me, just as I am. I’m Shana. 43 years young. Married to the man I prayed for, and together we’ve got a beautiful family — three men and our little lady.

Journey on with me
I always say life has blessed me in more ways than I could have imagined. And it truly has — love, family, laughter, those quiet “this is everything” moments. But let’s not pretend it’s been easy. Life doesn’t come with a guidebook, does it? And even the most beautiful seasons come with their storms.
What I didn’t realise for the longest time is that I’ve lived with anxiety for years. But here’s the thing — anxiety isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are so many different ways it shows up. For me, it was health anxiety. I was always caught in this loop, wondering, “What if something happened to me? How would my family cope if I wasn’t here?”
Any low day, no matter how small, would spiral into those fears. It didn’t matter what the actual problem was — my mind would always find a way to turn it into that worry, that “what if.” It was exhausting, and honestly, sometimes really lonely.
And you know what? My anxiety actually got worse after I had children. Not so much when they were little babies — I think I was too tired to overthink! — but as they grew older and started becoming more independent, those worries shifted and grew in a different way.
I’ll dive into that more in another blog post because it deserves its own space. But the long and short of it is — I needed help. Real, honest help. And now? I want to be that help for others.
Sometimes life gets so overwhelming, and it’s easy to forget how much we need to actually love ourselves — not just on the surface, but deep down. This blog is a little space to remind us all to be gentle with ourselves, to really care for our hearts and minds, even when things feel messy.
It’s not just about self-love and self-care as separate things. It’s about learning to slow down and be here, right now. Because when our minds are spinning with worry or overthinking, we miss out on those small, beautiful moments that mean everything.
It’s all about catching those little moments—pausing to hold onto them—and letting kindness toward ourselves grow naturally. When we allow that, life feels a bit lighter, warmer, and somehow more magical.
Here, I’ll be sharing a mix of thoughts and feelings, helpful tips and tricks for maintaining a healthy balanced lifestyle, and glimpses into my love for interior design, fashion, quotes and all things beautiful . It’s a space for inspiration, reflection, and gentle encouragement as we navigate life with intention and care.
Journey with me as we take it one day at a time—changing how we think, supporting each other through the ups and downs, and gently holding each other accountable along the way.
A closing thought:
“You are fearfully and wonderfully made—take care of yourself, for you are a masterpiece.”
Love Shana xx
